Initializing POS

After connecting the hardware devices, we will help you familiarize yourself with the basic usage of the POS machine and complete the initialization configuration. If you are not using the POS machine for the first time, you can skip this chapter.

# Basic usage

• To turn on the POS machine, press and hold the power button on the rear right side of the machine for 2-3 seconds.

• To turn off the POS machine, press and hold the power button on the rear right side of the machine for 2-3 seconds, then click "Power off".

• To put the POS machine to sleep, press the power button once, and it will enter sleep mode. Press the power button again to wake it up.

  Tips

  It is recommended to put the POS machine to sleep after the business day ends.

# Initialize configuration

When using the POS machine for the first time, the start guide interface will appear after turning it on . Please follow these steps to initialize the POS machine:

• Firstly, enter the Language page and set the system language for the POS machine.
• Click Next to enter the Time Zone page and set the system time zone based on your store's location.
• Click Next to enter the Network and Activation page, and set up the network for the POS machine.
  • Select ETHERNET, and the Status shows a warning message: Network is not connected.
  • Click the question mark icon corresponding to the warning message, refer to the diagram of the POS machine's Ethernet interface, connect the Ethernet cable properly, and then click RETRY to complete the network configuration.
• Click START CONFIG to finish the initialization settings of the POS machine, and then click ENTER THE SYSTEM to enter the POS machine.
