How to modify or delete incorrect orders?

If there is an operational mistake or if the customer changes their mind, you can make partial modifications or completely delete an order using the following steps:

Order Bring Back

  1. On the order list page, search for the corresponding order based on the date and order number. Then, click on the corresponding button on the right-hand side of the order list and select Bring Back.

  2. The brought back order can be edited, and you can delete individual items or the entire order.

    1. Deleting items or voiding the order will generate printed explanations for the kitchen regarding the voided or canceled items.
    2. As per Australian regulations, if the entire order is voided, the order number will still be retained in the backend, and the voided content will be recorded.

Table Order Bring Back

When the advanced table management feature is enabled, you can bring back a table if an employee mistakenly handles a table, such as A5, which is in the closed state and has not been served to the next customers.

  1. Go to the table layout interface and click on the vacant table that needs to be brought back.
  2. Click the More button at the top of the action bar and select Bring Back.
  3. At this point, not only is the order brought back, but the table will also return to the "In Service" state. You can continue with normal processes such as adding or removing items, changing tables, merging tables, and completing the payment as usual.

Payment Handling

Orders paid with cash and non-integrated credit card payments can be brought back. However, for easy reconciliation, orders paid with integrated payment methods such as third-party integrated credit card machines or online payments cannot be brought back. In such cases, you can only select the order from the order list and process a refund, refunding the money and voiding the order. Please refer to the relevant documentation for refund handling.

Order Bring Back and Void operations are intended to help the store process records of erroneous orders, and the order numbers will still be recorded. Please do not use this method to evade taxes by manipulating sales figures. In Australia, the creation, distribution, possession, use, or sale of electronic sales suppression tools (ESSTs) is considered illegal. Companies or individuals involved in such activities may face substantial financial penalties of up to 5000 penalty units, equivalent to over 1 million Australian dollars, depending on the severity of the violation and the extent of the offense.
